Joon J. Kang
Studio Director / Weight trainer
I started my journey as a trainer back in 2008. At the time, I was just obsessed with bodybuilding—it felt great to see my body change, and that boost of confidence kept me going. For years, I was all about the grind, until one day, bam—shoulder and back injuries hit me out of nowhere. That’s when I realized it was time to get serious about understanding how the body actually works.
Turns out, looking good on the outside is great, but feeling good on the inside is just as important. We’re not robots; we need to think, feel, and move in ways that make sense for our bodies. It’s not just about following strict routines but finding movements that feel right and building on them at your own pace.
There’s no one-size-fits-all in fitness—just safer and smarter ways to do things. We’re not professional athletes; we’re everyday people. My role is to understand each person’s unique situation, offer methods that can help them, and ensure they leave feeling energized and supported!
